Breakfast is a special occasion at the Grandview Bed and Breakfast Inn Mount Dora. Our breakfast is meant to be experienced and it is lovingly served in courses.
We take great pride in searching for the best locally harvested and sustainably farmed whole foods. We hope you'll love our breakfast as much as we enjoy preparing it each morning.
We personally select the delicious products you will enjoy. Most of our trips include visits to local farms, including Lake Meadow Naturals Farm in Ocoee, FL. They have the most amazing cage free eggs and some of the best local produce that we can't wait for you to try.
Another favorite is our own Mount Dora Farmer's market. For those that are interested, they are open most non festival Sundays from 10am-2pm and located near the Chamber of Commerce building.
The entire Grandview team has a genuine love of coffee and it is a sacred entity here. It's brought to us from a local coffee roaster just days of being roasted. Coffee is organic and ground fresh daily. It's served in either a Carafe, French Press or Pour Over. We'll even show you how to grind your own coffee in an antique coffee grinder if you ask.
You'll enjoy a taste of local honey from Happy Bee Honey, which we love to drizzle on our farm fresh fruit parfaits. Or you may enjoy honey as a topper on one of our home-made Belgian waffles.
Currently growing at the Grandview: Organic pineapples, Organic lemons, Persian limes, blackberry, Barbados cherry, blueberries, greens, grapes, peppers, kale, flowering cabbage, onion, sweet potato, tomato and an assortment of herbs.
We are very excited about growing our own tea garden. Our tea garden includes tea roses, tarragon, lavender, mint and hibiscus.
